Sangasava is a small self-catering bush lodge situated on the northern bank of the Olifants River within the Balule Nature Reserve approximately 45 kilometres from Hoedspruit and an hour’s drive from the Kruger National Park's, Phalaborwa Gate.
The quite bush ambience together with the sound of the river as it slowly meanders by, makes it the idyllic setting as therapy to the hectic life of the concrete jungle. Relaxation is the order of the day, but should the urge take you, you could do a bit of bird watching, tree spotting, game spotting or just sit and relax and watch what animals pass by along the river.
Sangasava is ideal for those travellers who would like to explore the surrounding area or for day trips into the Kruger National Park. Once you’ve been to Sangasava, you won’t want to leave.
Sangasava has the recipe to provide that long needed breakaway from the hardships of everyday city life; the only ingredients missing are you, your clothes, food and liquid refreshments. Accommodation Accommodation currently consists of a large rondaval (Kambaku) and a stone cottage (Shingwedzi).
